Tony started out breeding and training his own German Shorthaired Pointers. In the state of Indiana, he trained the first GSP Versatile Champion in NAVHDA and the first GSP Master Hunter. In 2004, he began training outside of his own kennel. Since that time, he has trained over 100 dogs of all breeds with great success.

In 2011, he expanded his breeding program to include Bracco Italianos. Tony excels in working with versatile breed dogs, no matter their temperament or personality due to his soft hand and gentle approach. He trained the youngest UT Prized Bracco in the breed and #1 Bracco in field in the U.S.

Tony has been a NAVHDA judge since 2009.

Featherhills Kennel offers large indoor/outdoor runs that are heated and air conditioned. We feed Purina Pro Plan to the dogs and they are well cared during their stay. Owners rave about the condition of their dogs and are welcome to come visit us during their training.
