FoxHaven Retrievers is located in the Helena Valley on 40 acres with a creek running right down the middle, perfect for introducing retriever puppies to water. The creek stays open year round creating a haven for all manner of wildlife and a playground for Labradors.

Terry and Laurie met at a skydiving club while in the service during the Viet Nam War. Terry was in the submarine service stationed at Vallejo, California and Laurie was in the Air Force stationed at Travis Air Force Base. After serving they moved to Helena, Montana and used the GI bill to receive degrees from Carroll College, Terry in business and Laurie in nursing.

Terry started training retrievers after he had Ebby for about a year and realized his Labrador was a much better hunter than he was. He joined a local group of dedicated hunters and retriever trainers and has been hooked ever since. He especially likes working with Lab puppies.
