I got my pup from Teal's at 9 weeks and she's now 6 months. She has absolutely grown into a healthy, gorgeous, and intelligent pup! She's so much fun! I do want to relay the unfortunate part of my interactions with Teal's though. First I received her via airlines, and I don't recommend that. She was completely terrified and traumatized upon picking her up, tail tucked for several hours, bathed in her poo, to this day still scared of any engine including my car. Please do not choose this option if you can help it. What really bothered me specific to these breeders was just overal dishonest communication and unprofessionalism. I paid top dollar and from the beginning there was one delay after the other getting her to me, and I was discouraged from picking her up even though that's what I felt was best in my gut. It was always blamed on the airlines etc. and no responsibility was ever taken for the mistakes. She also was supposed to come with a piece of blanket from her siblings and she did not which was also blamed on the airlines. It was obvious I was not dealing with an organized, professional, trustworthy breeder. She did not come with AKC papers and I was told I would receive a care package including that; I did not. She blamed AKC for her not sending that package and said she's contacted them for a duplicate. I haven't received that either and this has been an ongoing battle for over 4 months now. She looked malnourished when she arrived, literally everyone made mention of her being underweight, and I have pictures of her first day where every rib is protruding. This resolved within a week or less of her being in my care. I also wasn't convinced the pictures that I was showed were of her since it was a pup in a green colored collar and she arrived with an orange one. All that said, I am super happy with my puppy, Sedona and wouldn't trade her for the world (with or without her papers). I just am writing this in hopes of bringing some awareness to some ways in which treatment of the pups and communication can be improved. I do not recommend them or trust them and would avoid dealing with them in the future at all cost.

Hands down to the Teals! Couldn't ask for a better Breeder! I recommend the Teals to everyone! Ron & Paula are absolutely great people! We stayed at their home for 3 hrs picking out the right puppy. We will definitely use them when were ready for another 1. Keep up on what y'all are doing! It shows in your puppies! Outstanding

Teal's is the best we bought Sadie 2009 she is a doll, Ron and Paula are great and always answered all of our questions. Ron called us to see how our puppy was on the 1 year anniversary!

We got our pup about 5 years ago from Ron. He told us his dogs are bred for temperament and he was right. Hurlyis our first Vizsla and he is an absolute sweetheart. Strong, healthy fast dog! Loves to swim and do all the super activibe things we do. I was a little wore about flying s puppy in on a plane but all worked out fine. Ron Teal called several times checkiing the flight arrival and for days after arrival to check on the pups welfare and ours! From Howard and put him to sleep to how to feed him the how to spell train him to go out everything was perfect . His guidance as a Breeder was exceptional.

Like several other reviews on-line we picked up a puppy from Teal's, our first Vizsla, and he looked very healthy, However with in a couple of months we and our vet notices abnormal leg growth. After lots of vet bill we discovered that the dog had dwarfism. The breeder has promised us for more than a year now to give us another puppy but continues to have the excuse that the breeding is not working. "Should have a litter in...; oh, that didn't work so we are going to have to try again...we should have a litter in... And overtime we are "at the top of the list." We love our dog very much but we didn't pay a breeder a good breeders price, to receive a dog that has a genetic defect.

We purchased a puppy from Teal's in 2015. He has leg structural problems that became apparent as he grew. Breeder was not responsive or concerned. See other information online from others with similar issues. Do not recommend breeder.
