About Irish Red & White Setters

IRWS are outgoing and personable dogs, though often confused with more familiar Brittanys or sometimes Springers.  Thought to be the original Irish Setter, they are distinct from their aristocratic Red cousins.  If you meet a Red & White Setter, you will not forget him.  If you see a good one in the field, you might need to make room in your life for a bird dog.
