His Offspring, So You Must Be Ruth (Ruth) is the 2023 Boykin Spaniel National Puppy Champion.
Two other Indy Puppies also competed in 2023 BSS Nationals, Jasmine Hill’s Mabelline (Mabel) and
Legacy’s Put Me Down for Bogey (Bogey).
Indy is the son of HRCH Saint Thomas Justanislandboy MHR (TYBEE) and the grandson of GRHRCH Saint Thomas CHIEF MNH MHR and the great grandson of GRHRCH UH Just Ducky's Justforkicks (MULE) OCH06, 08, 09. Indy is a third generation bred line of HRCH and Master Hunter titled boykins and may be one of only two lines with both these titles.
Current competition plans include The BSS Nationals, HRCH Grand and the Master Nationals. When not training for competition he enjoys real time afield, flushing birds and sporting exceptional stamina retrieving ducks.
Indy is the breed standard at 42 lbs. and 17 3/4" to the shoulder. He has beautiful golden eyes, great teeth and bite. He is proportionate and fit, with strong muscles, agile and very fast. His soft and wavy dark liver colored coat is accentuated by his curly ears and shedding is minimal. He is OFA CHIC certified with GOOD Hips and DM, EIC. PRA Clear/Normal, Eyes w/BO, Cardiac, Patella & a carrier of CEA
He has superior marking abilities, is birdy, and extremely disciplined. His mouth is great, not too hard or soft and can easily carry a goose, which happens to be his favorite dokken. Indy handles well in tall grass, over logs, thru water and lily-pads.
Indy is very intelligent, a great problem solver, and eager to please. He has a wonderful disposition, loves other dogs and has no aggression towards people or animals.
Indy has his reproductive vet’s approval for live, AI and fresh chilled sperm breeding. He has an excellent count with healthy well shaped sperm.

2022 September 18 Judge Amy Gau Awarded Indy the second of two majors for the weekend in McDonald Tennessee and receiving his Grand Champion Title in Conformation. Friday, he received Select Dog from Judge Mrs. Donna Ernest.
2022 July 29 & July 30 In Greenville, SC Indy received Best of Opposite Sex on Friday by Judge Ms. Pluis Davern and Best of Breed and Owner Handled BOB on Sat under Judge Mr David Haddock.
