Hunting Dog Breeds Raised: Labrador Retriever
Our first dog was a male yellow lab we named Caesar. We were newly married (1970) and ran field trials with him. He became a pointed derby dog and thus began our 36 year love for the breed.
Being retired school teachers, we can say we have truly gone to the dogs.
Jim is a Field Product Specialist for Tri-Tronics. Mary is active in training the young dogs and caring for the puppies. We have raised many litters of pups from excellent breeding, of which many have earned hunt test titles.
Our focus is on training for obedience, gun dogs, and hunt test competition.(both UKC and AKC) We usually have a litter of lab puppies for sale each year. We may have started dogs available.
Our home is equipped to handle ten dogs, so they will receive a great deal of individual attention. We have dogs in outdoor fenced runs. We also allow the dogs in our home. Your dog will be considered part of our family when in training.
