Quabbin Gate Farm is all about scale and balance. We try to have plants and animals that complement each other. It is always tempting to try to get bigger but we try to stay small - not as easy as you might think.

Spinone are amazing dogs - if you like a gentle, cautious but playful companion who loves to hunt and to lie at your side by the fire when the day is done. They are great trackers as well which is what makes them useful on a small farm. They will bark at strangers but they will not bite. They will flush birds but can learn to leave the chickens alone - if you train them that way.

All puppy owners must have fenced yards. Owners must be able to stay home with puppy or take puppy to work or have puppy day care that can be verified.
